The Canine Heritage™ Breed Test product provides scientific insight into your dog’s breed composition using state-of-the-art DNA-based technology.  With a single DNA CheekSwab sample from your dog, the test identifies the predominant breeds provided they are on the list of 38 identified breeds.  The Canine Heritage™ Breed Test product does not provide information about paternity or mating between dogs.  If you are interested in verifying pedigrees, please use our Canine DNA Parentage Test.

The Canine DNA Identification Test, DNA PawPrint™ product, produces a unique DNA profile of your dog.  Since DNA is passed from parent to offspring, these DNA profiles can be used to verify relationships.  If you own a dog of unknown breed or are curious about the breed composition of your mixed-breed dog, please use our Canine Heritage™ Breed Test product.
